The Meteodyn company’s website is informative and indicative and is intended to provide information about the company and its activities. The specific use of the information contained on this site is the exclusive responsibility of the user. By accessing the Meteodyn company site, the user undertakes not to attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the site or any other functionality or non-compliant use of the data.

Meteodyn regularly updates the site but does not guarantee the accuracy of its content and reserves the right to modify all pages of the site at any time and without notice. Meteodyn cannot be held responsible for any damage whatsoever resulting from information contained in this website.

PRIVACY POLICY

DATA COLLECTION – USE OF COOKIES – CONSENT

The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform users of the METEODYN service of the methods of collection, processing and use of their personal data and of their rights with regard to the protection of personal data in accordance with the applicable regulations, in particular Law 78-17 of January 6, 1978 regarding information technology, files and freedoms, known as the “Informatique et Libertés” (Data Protection Act), and the European Regulation on the protection of personal data 2016/679, known as the “RGPD”.
METEODYN, SAS having its registered office at 7 et 9 rue Duguay Trouin, 44800 St Herblain, France, registered with the RCS of Nantes under the number B 448 001 099, is responsible for the processing of the data collected under the terms of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 and of the law n°78-17 of 6 January 1978.

To access METEODYN’s resources and services, users provide personal data such as, in particular, their e-mail address, name, telephone number. Similarly, when a registered user logs on to the website, his or her IP address is recorded.

In addition, when a user visits the website, a cookie may be automatically installed on his browser software. A cookie is a block of data that does not allow users to be identified but is used to record information relating to the user’s navigation on the website. The user can be informed about such cookies, and refuse them, in the settings of his browser software.

Personal information and data collected about the users of the website are treated as confidential.

CATEGORIES OF PROCESSED DATA

The categories of data processed within the scope of services are the following:

  • data relative to the identity of the users (name, first name);

  • users’ telephone number;

  • users’ e-mail addresses;

  • technical identifiers of the terminals used by the users (IP address, type of browser, etc.).

The collection and processing of the aforementioned data is based either on the consent of the users or on the legitimate interest of METEODYN. In the event of data processing being based on consent, the person concerned may revoke it later on. Data is collected directly from users. Mandatory data are indicated in the collection forms by an asterisk. In their absence, the service related to this collection may not be provided.

The user is informed of the existence of the processing of his/her data at registration and has the right to object to the processing at a later date, subject to the reservations provided for by the regulations in force, in particular Articles 17 and 21 of the RGPD, with regard to the processing of data justified by a legitimate interest. PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING

The data collected during the use of the site and access to the services are processed in order to allow access to the resources published on the site, the identification of users, the improvement of services, the compilation of audience and traffic statistics, the processing of requests from customers and prospects, and the delivery of editorial content as well as commercial prospecting operations.

DATA TRANSFER

METEODYN only uses the above-mentioned data for its own purposes and for the above-mentioned purposes. The data will not be used for any other purpose, will not be passed on to third parties and will be kept confidential.

Data may, however, be transferred to technical services providers that we may hire in order to improve the website and services, in particular, and without limitation, for the hosting of the website, applications and database on shared server infrastructures, or for the use of technical solutions allowing the transmission of its contents.

Where applicable, personal information concerning users may be accessible to the service provider, within the strict framework of the service provided. METEODYN undertakes to ensure that its service providers and processors comply with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 and will not make any use of the data other than to carry out the technical services necessary to enable the use of the services.

COOKIES AND TRACKERS

Meteodyn may collect and process data relating to the terminal on which the user accesses the services, in particular its model, its operating system, the technical identifiers of the terminal, the IP address and the geolocation data during access. These data are not nominative.

The installation of some cookies is subject to the user’s consent. Therefore, during his first visit on the website, the user is invited to accept or not the installation of cookies requiring his consent on his equipment.

In case of refusal, a refusal cookie will be inserted on the user’s terminal in order to record his choice. If the user deletes this refusal cookie, the installation of cookies may be offered again.

The user can configure his choices regarding the processing of this data, and revert to his initial choice, in his terminal settings.

“Statistical” cookies

These are cookies which are within the scope of the deliberation n°2019-093 of July 4th 2019 issued by the CNIL, adopting guidelines for the application of Article 82 of the French Law of January 6th 1978 to reading or writing operations in a user’s terminal (including cookies and other tracers),which do not require prior consent of the user, since they do not process personal data.

STORAGE DURATION

In accordance with the regulations in force, personal data is kept for a period that does not exceed the time necessary for the purposes they are collected and processed.

Personal data collected during purchase orders, requests for information, and newsletter subscriptions are kept for a period of 36 months from the date of collection, unless a new order, new subscription or new request for information is made.

The cookies and tracers installed during the use of the services expire at the end of a maximum duration of 13 months starting from the last visit. The data collected through them is kept for a maximum of 25 months.

SECURITY OF COLLECTED DATA

METEODYN undertakes to ensure the confidentiality of collected data, and to implement all appropriate technical and organisational measures to preserve their security and integrity, in particular against accidental loss, alteration, dissemination or unauthorised access.

Generally, METEODYN undertakes to use collected data in strict compliance with the legislation in force, and in particular with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, known as the GDPR.

For this purpose, METEODYN undertakes in particular:

  • To host data within the European Union;

  • Not to use data for purposes other than those specified herein;

  • Not to disclose data to third parties, whether private or public, natural or legal persons, apart from the above-mentioned technical service providers and processors;

  • To inform users of any breach or security flaw having direct or indirect consequences on the data and/or likely to result in accidental disclosure or unauthorized access to data.

USERS’ RIGHTS

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6th1978 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27th 2016, users have an individual right of access, rectification, deletion, limitation, opposition and portability of data about them.

To exercise these rights, the User must make a request to METEODYN, indicating his/her name, first name, address and e-mail address, under the following conditions:
