METEODYN Receives the Lorenzo Cagnoni Innovation Award at KEY 2026

We are proud to announce that METEODYN has received the Lorenzo Cagnoni Innovation Award at KEY – The Energy Transition Expo 2026 in Rimini, Italy.
This distinction recognises METEODYN as the most innovative company featured at KEY, one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to renewable energy and energy transition. The award highlights advanced technologies and solutions capable of contributing to a more circular and sustainable economy, while showcasing both Italian and international excellence across the exhibition’s sectors.
The award highlights METEODYN’s continuous innovation on METEODYN WT, our wind design software, as well as our Climate Change Analytics (CCA) solution providing wind speed and annual energy production projections for WRA, enabling long-term analysis of wind resource evolution and its potential impact on annual energy production.
The Climate Change Analytics approach adds a longer-term perspective to wind resource assessment through precise and localized climate projections based on IPCC scenarios. It helps stakeholders better assess future conditions and supports more informed project evaluation.
With this innovation, METEODYN continues to expand the capabilities of its solutions for the wind energy sector providing project developers, consultants and energy professionals with tools for more informed decision-making throughout the life cycle of a wind energy project.
A total of seven companies and seven startups were recognised through this year’s award programme, underlining the significance of this distinction.
This award reflects METEODYN’s ongoing work in digital wind engineering. As the wind energy sector continues to evolve, METEODYN remains focused on developing robust and forward-looking solutions for the industry.
