Meteodyn WPA is a wind farm performance analysis software. The software automatically analyzes SCADA data from wind turbines and then presents the data as graphs or combined indicators. Data from wind farms and wind turbines can be analyzed in-depth and in a more understandable way.
The wind farm performance processing and analysis software
The software automatically detects and classifies the operating status of wind turbines into different categories without the use of turbine status indicators. This feature allows to evaluate the actual power curve of the turbines at the site and to compare it to the manufacturer’s power curve.
The resulting curves can then be analyzed over time using the Data Crossing tool. This makes it possible to detect loss of energy production, analyze wind turbine failures and diagnose underperformance.
Meteodyn WPA will facilitate the evaluation of downtime and energy loss caused by failures, grid control or maintenance operations.

The software does not use wind turbine status indicators or error codes generated by the manufacturers. It requires only raw SCADA data from wind turbines in time series, including wind speed and direction measurements, and production data to operate.

The software works offline. The software does not require a constant connection to the SCADA database to analyze the data.

We’re using Meteodyn WPA to analyze the SCADA data from our wind farms, and we found that this software acts as an effective assistant by reducing our workload. After importing SCADA data into the software, the performance of each turbine in the wind farm is determined rapidly through several KPIs.
