Meteodyn GCS
Meteodyn GCS is a mesoscale climate data extraction and analysis software specifically designed for the wind energy industry. Anywhere onshore and up to 100 km offshore, it is possible to extract mesoscale climate data of a future wind site in a few seconds using an integrated selection grid. From 1980 to the present, the data obtained covers a historical period of more than 40 years. They provide all wind characteristics as well as air temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure.
The quickest mesoscale data provider
From 1980 to the present, the data obtained covers a historical period of more than 40 years. They provide all wind characteristics as well as air temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure.
Based on NASA’s MERRA2 and ECMWF’s ERA5 models, the software transforms this data into time series that can easily be analyzed.
Meteodyn GCS can be used together with Meteodyn WDA software. In particular, it is possible to merge their data using the MCP (Measure-Correlate-Predict) method to obtain accurate long-term microscale data.

Strengths
Intuitive user interface
Simplified navigation between the world map and each open mesoscale point, as well as between each data analysis tool.
Quick extraction of climate data
It is possible to extract up to 40 years of historical data, from 1980 to the present, providing more comprehensive time series for accurate estimation.
These long-term data are also useful for performing MCP in Meteodyn WDA to obtain accurate long-term measurement data.
Selection grid
Mesoscale climate data is then extracted for a specific location without the need to extract the entire global dataset, resulting in significant storage and time savings.
Filtering systems
From analysis tools: Streamlined filtering of data by month, direction, data source at different heights (2m, 10m, 50m) and/or time of day (day/night).
Simplified item management
Integration with other software products of the Meteodyn Universe suite
