WindEnergy Hamburg 2026: From wind assessment to operational performance

How can better decisions be made throughout a wind project, from site assessment to operational performance? From September 22 to 25, 2026, METEODYN will be exhibiting at WindEnergy Hamburg, one of the major international events for the onshore and offshore wind industry.

Throughout a wind project’s lifecycle, developers and operators face very different challenges: identifying promising sites, assessing the wind resource, estimating production, anticipating future generation or analyzing the performance of operating wind farms.

METEODYN addresses these challenges by combining more than 20 years of wind engineering expertise with wind data, CFD modelling, satellite observations, forecasting and operational analytics.

During WindEnergy Hamburg, our team will present the latest developments around METEODYN WT, Wind Data Portal, SARWind®, METEODYN Forecast, METEODYN WPA, and Climate Change Analytics, and discuss how these solutions can be applied to current and future wind projects.

CLS Group presence in Hamburg

 

This year, Sidney Bilski from CLS Southern Africa, Richard Liptrot from CLS UK and Maud Dumas from Quiet-Oceans will also join the METEODYN team at Stand A1.427.

They will be available to discuss offshore wind projects, measurement strategies and site-specific challenges, with a particular focus on DeepCLiDAR, CLS Group’s floating LiDAR solution for offshore wind resource assessment.

DeepCLiDAR provides in-situ offshore wind measurements that can complement satellite observations and METEODYN’s modelling capabilities to improve the understanding of wind conditions at a project site.

 

Quiet-Oceans, also part of CLS Group, will be exhibiting at WindEnergy Hamburg at Hall B2 Ground floor, stand 210.8.

Its team will present its expertise in underwater acoustics, noise impact assessment and mitigation, supporting offshore developments in addressing their environmental challenges.
